Making hidden muscle activity visible.
We are researching how non-invasive wearable technology can help people sense and control muscles that are hard to feel, starting with the pelvic floor.
Developed within the University of Cambridge, in collaboration with the Plasticity Lab.
How do you train a muscle you can’t see or feel?
The pelvic floor is difficult to see and difficult to sense, which makes it hard to know whether you are training it correctly.
Our research asks how feedback can help people develop awareness and voluntary control of muscles that are difficult to perceive.
This is early-stage research. Our technology is investigational, and is not a medical device or an established treatment.
Join a Yoga Lab
Our Yoga Labs explore how people learn to control their muscles during movement.
Sessions bring together researchers, movement professionals and members of the community to explore instruction, body awareness, feedback and motor learning through guided movement.
You do not need to be an experienced yoga practitioner.

Upcoming sessions
Yoga Labs run on the 1st of each month, with four sessions on the day. We share the location once your eligibility and place are confirmed.
